Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for photo sessions?

Yes, absolutely! I love to travel and photograph in new environments! I’m based between Ottawa and Montréal, but I’m available to capture your moments across Canada and internationally for special projects or destination sessions.


If you're planning a session outside of my primary locations, a travel fee may be added to cover transportation, accommodation (if applicable), and time. These fees vary depending on distance, but I always aim to keep things fair and transparent. Planning a shoot in a dream location like the mountains, the beach, or another city? Let’s co-create something magical there. I’ll help with location scouting and logistics, too.

2. How far in advance should I book?

For portrait and couple sessions, I recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially if you're eyeing a weekend or golden hour time slot.

For engagement sessions, proposals, weddings, or travel sessions, it’s best to book 4–6 weeks ahead minimally, since these often require more detailed planning, location scouting, or coordination.


That said, last-minute openings do happen, so feel free to reach out even if your date is soon! If I have space, I’ll make it happen. The earlier you book, the better we can collaborate to make your session unique and meaningful.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Life happens, I totally get it! If you need to reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice, and I’ll do my best to accommodate a new date that works for both of us. Your deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to a new session date within 3 months of the original booking, as long as it’s rescheduled within that timeframe.


If you cancel the session entirely, your deposit will not be refunded due to the time, preparation, and date held exclusively for you. In case of emergencies or bad weather (for outdoor sessions), we’ll work together to find a backup plan or new date that feels just as exciting. I believe in compassionate communication and keeping things flexible when needed.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes to all three! All of my packages include a beautifully curated online gallery where you can view, download, and share your high-resolution images. You’ll be able to download both web-optimized and print-ready versions.


If you’re someone who loves tangible keepsakes, I offer optional professional prints, custom photobooks, and fine-art albums through trusted labs. These are perfect for anniversaries, gifts, or simply preserving your memories in a way that lasts. Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll receive access to my print store directly within the gallery to make the process easy and seamless.

5. What should I wear to my session?

I recommend choosing outfits that feel like you but elevated, pieces that make you feel confident, comfortable, and expressive. Think movement (like flowy dresses or wide-leg pants), soft textures, and neutral or earthy tones for a timeless look.


Need extra help? I’m happy to review outfit options, suggest stores, or help you create a mood board during our pre-session design consultation. I’ve got you, whether you want editorial, cozy, romantic, or bold vibes!

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, please! This is your session, and I want to make sure you get the moments you’re dreaming of. If there are specific poses, Pinterest inspo, or must-have shots you love, feel free to share them with me during our design consultation or by email before your session.


That said, I also love capturing candid, natural moments. So while we’ll get your must-haves, I’ll also guide you through prompts and movements that create genuine, emotion-filled images. You don’t have to worry about “posing”, I’ll gently direct you the entire time so you feel confident and relaxed.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, and it’s included in every session! All my sessions come with a complimentary pre-session design consultation, either via video call or a phone call (depending on your schedule).


This is our chance to talk through your vision, choose a location, discuss wardrobe, go over any specific poses you want, and make sure we’re aligned creatively. I want you to feel fully prepared, excited, and supported before stepping in front of the lens.


The consultation is where the magic starts! It helps me tailor the experience so it reflects you authentically.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

Your full gallery will be delivered in 2–3 weeks via a private online gallery. This gallery allows you to download high-res and web-size images, share your favorites, and even order prints or albums if you wish.


If you need a faster turnaround for a special event, let me know at the time of booking; rush delivery may be available for an additional fee depending on my current schedule.
